The quality assurance steps taken by UGM are a long evolutionary process that is very appropriate to be used as a mirror in efforts to improve quality in other Universities, especially those who are still young and still in the process of searching.

The UNIDA Gontor BPM team with the APT team on Friday 22/03/2019 managed to visit the UGM Quality Assurance Office team to get many things related to the implementation of quality assurance at UGM so far.

Willing to share knowledge, Quality Assurance Office Chairperson Prof. Indra Wijaya and the Head of Quality Assurance for Research and Community Service Dr. Johanes Gentur, stated that the formation of a quality culture cannot be worked out in a short time but must be gradual and long time.

He further stated, that if you want to carry out quality assurance, you must start immediately without having to wait perfectly first. In addition, it was emphasized that building a quality culture must begin with leadership commitment, paradigm changes, mental attitudes, and work ethic for all elements of the academic community.
